Presenter: Luke Touhill
This webinar explores the creative and critical thinking behind early learning environments and examines how these environments can reflect and support the image of the child and childhood. Presenter Luke Touhill also discusses the ways in which physical environments can shape the behavior of children and adults.
Luke Touhill has worked in early childhood education for over twenty years – as a teacher, director, manager, trainer and lecturer. He has a PhD from Macquarie University where his thesis “Designing for Children” investigated the design of children’s services in Australia. He strongly believes that a well organised and well-resourced physical environment plays a key role in supporting quality early childhood practice.
