About the Webinar

A breast cancer diagnosis can impact sexual health, relationships and body image. In this webinar we'll talk about those things that aren't often discussed: how to overcome side effects like vaginal dryness, fatigue and little or no libido, to get your sex life back on track.

Meet your panel:

  • Rose Wharepapa was diagnosed with breast cancer ten years ago, aged 43. Rose will talk about how her sex life changed, and what worked (and what didn’t) to get her back on track.
  • Dr Stella Milsom is an endocrinologist specialising in menopause, as well as polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), loss of period, osteoporosis and subfertility. Stella will explore the physical side effects of breast cancer that can impact on sex life, and what’s available to help you overcome them.
  • Edit Horvath is a sex therapist and psychologist at ActiveSEXLIFESolutions. Edit will highlight the role of sex therapy after breast cancer and will explore ways to manage side effects and minimise their impact on your libido.

What will you get out of this session?

This session will give you a chance to hear a more in-depth discussion about intimacy after breast cancer. The last twenty minutes of the session will take the form of a Q&A, where our experts will answer your most pressing questions that you send in throughout the talk.
