Otitis media is an umbrella term that covers a range of problems in the middle ear which can be a continuum of disease.

This 45 minute webinar will cover the common problems of acute otitis media and chronic otitis media with effusion.

Dr Lina Nido is a general practitioner and also GP liaison for the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. Dr Nido will present a couple of recent case studies. Dr Elizabeth Rose, an Ear Nose and Throat specialist will provide her clinical perspective.

Dr Elizabeth Rose

Head of the Department of Otolaryngology at the Royal Children’s Hospital, and Head of Paediatric Otolaryngology at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. Senior Lecturer at the University of Melbourne Department of Otolaryngology.

Dr Lina Nido

Dr Lina Nido is a GP who works part time at The Western Medical Centre, Kingsville and on occasion at GPs @ the Kids (the after hours GP clinic located within the Royal Children’s Hospital Emergency Department).  She is the GP Liaison Officer at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear hospital (for over 9 years) and a GP representative for the Evidence based Care subcommittee of the Victorian Paediatric Clinical Network.
